MR. ABID PATEL was born in Kashimira in 1917. He was a social worker and worked hard for the people of the surrounding area. He was Sarpanch of Kashimira Village for a span of thirty years. Taking note of his innovative methods in agriculture the Government of Maharashtra bestowed him with a gold medal. He was engaged in the construction business too.

According to him, “Knowledge is not something to be obtained from books, but to be gained from various aspects of life.” He believed that Nature was the best source for learning.

The long journey started by Mr. Abid A. Patel is today led by his son MR. Rafique A. Patel, spreading his vision.
