DISCIPLINE
1. Every bonafide student of the college must wear around the neck his/her Identity Card when he/she is in the college campus.
2. A student found in a tutorial batch or a division or a class, which is not meant for him/her, will be liable for punishment/fine.
3. Students should not loiter in the corridors or in the college premises particularly when classes are in session.
4. Complete silence should be observed in the library and its Reading Hall.
5. A student should not invite any outsider to the college premises, classrooms, library, canteen or gymkhana.
6. No fund raising activity should be undertaken by any student without prior written permission from the Principal.
7. Students are warned that they should not indulge in any form of ragging. Any student found involved or abetting in ragging, will be dealt with as per provisions of law.
8. Students are not permitted to park two wheelers or four wheelers outside the college gate.
9. Students should take care of, and not cause any damage to, the College property, failing which he/she will be fined.
10. The Principal has the power to determine suitable disciplinary action in case of indiscipline and improper conduct of the students while in the college.
11. Parents/Guardians/Students are requested to read and acquaint themselves with the rules of conduct and discipline. Students must ensure strict compliance with these rules.
12. If, for any reason, in the opinion of the Principal, the continuance of any student in the College is detrimental to the interest of the College, the Principal may expel such a student from the College. The decision of the Principal in this regard will be final and binding on all.
13. Students with poor attendance and/or academic perfomance and conduct, may not be admitted to the next semester/subsequent year as the case may be, and the admission of such students shall be solely at the discretion of the Principal.
14. Use of filthy language or misconduct and intimidation on the part of the student is sufficient grounds/reasons for the suspension or expulsion.
15. College Lecture Starts from 8 a.m. onwards for F.Y.J.C. and 8.40 a.m. onwards for S.Y.J.C. any student not present in class on or before scheduled time, he/she will not be allowed to attend lectures for the day.
ATTENDANCE
1. A minimum attendance of 75% of the theory lectures, practicals and tutorials (wherever prescribed), separately will be required out of the total number of lectures,practicals and tutorials in the subjects conducted during the term/semester.
2. A student who is not able to attend his/her classes regularly and/or who is not able to complete his/her tutorials/project/assignments properly may not be permitted to appear for the examiation as per the boards rules.
3. If student are not able to attend lectures and/or tutorials for a period exceeding a weak in term,they should take prior permission from the college Principal,for such absence.
DRESS CODE
Students are expected to wear decent clothes.Students are stictly prohibited from wearing the following while on the college premises.
Boys- Caps,Hats,Half-pants,Shorts,Bermudas,Sleeveless T-Shirts and 3/4th pants.
Girls- Caps,Hats,Half-pants,Shorts,Bermudas,Skin-tight dresses,revealing dresses,Shorts dresses or short skirts,Sleeveless and short tops and pedal pushers.
Any other attire which according to the college authorities is not suitable to the college culture/environment will not be permitted.
No religious attire or Symbol is accepted in college campus and classrooms.
CELL PHONES
Use of cell phones in any form in the class rooms and corridors is strictly prohibited.Any breach of this discipline, the cell-phone holder wil be liable for a penalty of Rs.50/- for the first offence,In case of a repetition of the offence the cell -phone shall be liable to be confiscated.Cell Phones are not allowes in Examination Halls.
OTHER RULES
1. Students are required to take adequate care of their belongings while on the college premises.Management will not be responsilble for any theft/damage to the belongings.
2. It is the responsibility of the students to read the notice boards of the college regularly for important announcement made by the college office from time to time during the college hours.
3. Students should avoid changing college after passing of F.Y.J.C.
